Episode 15: Making Psychology a Household Name with Dr. Michi Fu

Dr. Michi Fu is a Taiwanese American licensed psychologist who specialized in Asian American mental health. Dr. Michi Fu's goal is to make psychology a household name especially in the Asian-American community. 

She is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University.  She is the Interim Director of Counseling Services at Cal Poly Pomona. She publishes in the areas of cross cultural psychology, gender issues, trauma, and positive psychology.  Dr. Fu has conducted wellness tours in Asia, introducing mental health professionals and graduate students to international psychology. She has a private practice with multiple locations, including telemental health therapy. Dr. Fu enjoys consulting with Asian American organizations, offering workshops or trainings to organizations ranging from Asian American theatre troupes to civic organizations.

Dr. Fu had a tutor at 12 years old that helped guide her towards the psychology career path.
